About Aerial Cornwall

Since 2014, Aerial Cornwall has been dedicated to capturing Cornwall from above.

What began with a fascination for aerial imagery has grown into a creative journey spanning more than a decade. Born from a deep love of Cornwall, Aerial Cornwall is the vision of Matthew Burtwell – a photographer and drone operator driven to show this county in ways few ever get to see. From the raw and wild coastline to golden beaches, hidden coves and historic landmarks, every flight is about chasing the spirit of Cornwall and sharing it with the world.

Over the years, that passion has given us the chance to work with everyone from small local businesses to nationally recognised brands, creating everything from fine art prints and commissioned artwork to commercial photography and film productions. Each project blends experience, creative storytelling, and the latest equipment to deliver imagery with impact.

At Aerial Cornwall, it’s not just about pictures from the sky – it’s about revealing the beauty, character and stories of this place we call home and delivering work that inspires.
